Children’s Church Updates

In preparation for the move to our new Sanctuary, and in maintaining the safety of our children as a priority, we are making changes to Children’s Church during the 11:00am worship services.

We will continue to offer the following:

The Nest - childcare for infants and toddlers, located in The Nest in Building B, Rm 111.

PreWorship! - for children 2 and 3 years of age, located in the Raccoon Room in Building B, Rm 128.

WeeWorship! - for children 4 and 5 years of age, located in the Owl Room in Building B, Rm 129.

The above ministries require parents to check children in and out of the classrooms.

Elementary children are encouraged to fully participate with their families in worship.  A number of resources are available in the Creation Kids Worship Bags available in the narthex:

  • KidzWorship: a weekly children’s worship guide to aid children as they focus on worship
  • Wonders of Worship: a booklet designed to
    inform children about worship
  • Care Cards: cards to color and write notes on for homebound and sick members of church
  • Books, stickers, chenille sticks, and other quiet activities

KidzWorship! will conclude in its regular format on Sunday, November 22nd.  The new resources will be available on Sunday, November 29th.

The Advent season is a wonderful time to introduce our elementary children to the new resources available to them in worship.
